Birthdays all around!

I have been such a BAD blogger mom...shame on me!  With the holidays, ALL the birthdays, and mainly the fact that I am burning the candle at both ends, our blog has been NEGLECTED.  But I'm back (for the time being) to share some fun photos with you.

This past January we had not one but TWO birthdays to celebrate!  Harrison turned 15 on January 16th...I'm still in shock to think that we will be dealing with a teenage driver 11 months from now!  He is already studying hard for his Utah State Learners Permit test.  All I can say is, get off the road if you see us coming!!

Just one week later, on January 23rd, we celebrated Andrew's 14th birthday!  These two boys are getting  SO big.  It's hard to image that I started dating their daddy when they were close to Owen's age...oy vey!  They definitely keep us on our toes, that's for sure!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU!  WE LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!

And then there's me...I celebrated my...wait for it...31st birthday on February 8th!!  It turned out to be a great day and I got SPOILED by all of my family.  Thank you everyone for making 'getting old' so much fun :)

We can't forget little Owen...

Our little guy turned 8 MONTHS on February 9th!  Honestly, how is it possible for him to get any cuter?!  He is changing so much and getting bigger by the day.  Finally, after him teething for what felt like eternity, he now has two little teeth that have broken through his bottom gums.  It's 'adios' to that adorable little gummy grin that I love so much but 'hello' to all the new food that he is going to love chewing on.  Eating is one thing that Owen LOVES to do.  This child eats pretty much EVERYTHING that you put in front of him and especially loves to eat whatever it is Mommy is snacking on.  His new favorite is TOAST!  Whether it's buttered or has a slice of cheese melted on it, Owen does not discriminate, he loves toast.  And string cheese...we had to start purchasing string cheese at CostCo just to keep the fridge stocked with enough string cheese for him to snack on. Mealtimes are so fun around our house now that Owen wants to try everything on the table.

So, you'd think that with all this new food he's eating he would need some type of physical activity to expend all those extra calories, like CRAWLING...but NOPE...Owen has no interest in being mobile at this point.  He is totally content just playing with all his toys as he sits comfortably on his bum.  Once he gets put on his tummy he turns into a rolling machine, so no crawling yet guys.  But his jaws sure are getting some action!  What a little jabber-jaws he has turned into.  His favorite words right now are 'da-da-da-da' 'ba-ba-ba-ba' and boy does he loves to yell, which is especially fun when we're at his brothers' band/orchestra concerts :)  It's never a dull moment when Owen is in the audience.

Speaking of Owen, it's time for Mommy to get him down for his nap.  We'll leave you with a few of our favorite pictures from this past holiday season...
